CHILDREN from Parkwall Primary School have buried a time capsule at the site of a new housing development in Cadbury Heath.

The pupils filled the capsule with items representing their school today and the area in which they live. In addition to letters addressed to children of the future, the children packed items ranging from present-day coins to a DVD featuring the television series Top Gear. Others included examples of pupils’ work, a school jumper and bottles of drinks.

They hope it will be ‘a surprise for the future’ when it is discovered at Charlotte Mews in years to come.
