CUSTOMERS at the Lord Raglan pub in St George can give themselves a pat on the back after their contributions tipped Frankie past the one million mark.

CUSTOMERS at the Lord Raglan pub in St George can give themselves a pat on the back after their contributions tipped Frankie past the one million mark.

A collection bucket was placed on the bar of the pub in Nags Head Hill and regulars kindly donated their spare change, which amounted to more than £100.

Landlord Gary Searle said everyone had been delighted to help out.

"The Lord Raglan and customers support Help for Heroes and have done for the past 10 years," he said.

"We are happy to give money to such a great cause and would like to congratulate Frankie on achieving his challenge."
