EAGLE-EYED readers will no doubt have noticed the smart new addition to Hanham's High Street.

For Kingswood MP Chris Skidmore has relocated his constituency office from Kingswood to the area to become more accessible to constituents.

The office, at number 60 High Street, boast smart green and white signage which includes the Portcullis emblem representing the Houses of Parliament.

Chris said he was attracted to the new office as it is in a great location, serviced by bus routes including the 44, 45 and 332 and has free parking nearby.

Regular surgeries will continue to be held around the constituency.

The Kingswood MP said: “As the local MP, I think it is important that I am as accessible to as many local residents as possible. I was the first MP for Kingswood to have an office on Kingswood High Street and having spent more than five years there, I wanted to give people who may have not necessarily been able to visit my office in Kingswood a chance to see me in another popular High Street location that is well served by public transport.

"If there is ever anything I can help you with then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via email, and all local constituents are invited to pop in to the office to speak to either myself or a member of my staff directly.”

Dates and times for surgeries can be found by ringing Chris’ constituency office number on 0117 908 1524 or by contacting Chris directly at chris@chrisskidmore.com.

If constituents would like to write to Chris or visit the office then the address is 60 High Street, Hanham, BS15 3DR and the office hours remain 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
