AVON Wildlife Trust has restarted its regular termtime wild-play sessions for families with under-fives at Feed Bristol in Stapleton.

The pioneering nature education centre gives children and their parents and carers a chance to learn about nature in the city and have fun together outdoors.

Activities at the My Wild Child sessions include making nature-themed wild art, mini-beast hunts, songs, storytelling and much more. Sessions also give parents and carers an opportunity to spend time with their children in a local green space and to connect with other families and the surrounding community.

The sessions are on Friday mornings from 10-11.30am. They cost £5 per child for entry to the site, and include a healthy snack.

Avon Wildlife Trust also runs My Wild Child sessions in St George Park on Thursdays, Knowle on Wednesdays, and Horfield Common on Thursday afternoons. These sessions are free, and funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. http://www.avonwildlifetrust.org.uk/mywildchild or contact learning@avonwildlifetrust.org.uk
