Police appeal after suspected rape

Police want to talk to this man about the attempted rape of a woman in Hanham.

Avon and Somerset police say a woman was attacked in the early hours of Sunday, July 1, between 3am and 5am, in the Jeffries Hill area.

Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

They say he is black, in his 30s and of large build, with a shaved head.

A spokesperson said: “The CCTV image is of a male we believe may be able to assist us with our enquiries.”
