The Government has allocated £362,000 for local roads from its Pothole Action Fund.

Money is also coming our way from the new National Productivity Investment Fund to  improve roads in the district with the aim of  cutting congestion and improving journey times.

Kingswood MP Chris Skidmore welcomed the funding, which he said would be of great benefit tolocal families and businesses.

‘The state of our roads is consistently being raised with me on the doorstep by local residents, so I know how popular this government funding will be,” Mr Skidmore  said.
