Pyjama run is the best fun!

November 29 2018

PUPILS at The Meadows Primary School held a record number of activities for Children in Need and raised £381.96.

The day was organised by children on the school council, which has been introduced by headteacher Joy Mounter to give the youngsters a voice.

A highlight was a Pyjama Run around the Bitton school's field. A cake sale and wearing spotty clothes were among the other fundraisers.

Mrs Mounter said: "Part of our new school vision is to create memorable experiences for our children, who are at the heart of everything we do.

"We are seeing great improvements in lessons - all teaching and learning is now good and our results have rocketed - but we also want children to have fun at our inclusive school."
