YOUNG musicians from King's Oak Academy will be holding their annual Christmas concert at the Bristol Colston Hall next month and former students are being invited to join them.

This year's event, on December 7, will be even more special than usual because, it could be the last.

Tim Warren, team leader of performance and participation at King's Oak, said he is hoping parents and former students will join in to make it extra magical.

"The Colston Hall is closing for two years in May for modernisation and this might well be the last concert which we hold at this prestigious venue," he said.

"To make this final event even more special we would like to invite parents/carers and past students of KOA and Kingsfield School, its previous name before becoming an academy, to join with us."

The invite is for roles both on and off the stage, or in any possible capacity.

Information about rehearsals will be put onto the King's Oak Academy Facebook page or people can contact Mr Warren directly by emailing warrent@kingsoakacademy.org.uk
