SIR Bernard Lovell Academy saw some strong individual performances at both A-level and GCSE in 2016.

SIR Bernard Lovell Academy saw some strong individual performances at both A-level and GCSE in 2016.
Sixth-formers who did particularly well included Joe Oliver, who got three As and is off to Bristol University to study maths and computer science; James Owers, who also gained three As and will read chemistry at Bristol; and Jake Peters, with an A* and two As,who will study maths at either Bristol or Warwick.
Successful GCSE students academy included Tom Kerfoot (9A*s, 1A), Ben Llewellyn (5A*s, 6As), Lauren Davies (4A*s, 5As, 1B) as well as Jessica Bennett, Lucy Head and Lucy Stenner.
Tom Jackson, Oscar Jones and Emma Allen all achieved results that showed outstanding progress.
Principal Rupert Maule said: “We are particularly pleased with continued excellent English results and significant improvement in results in science.”
