We looked at ways in which those of us with Parkinson’s
had been helped, and a list was made as members had the
chance to share ideas.  We discovered a variety of factors, from having specialist nurses to give support, to having the right gadget to help us in and out of bed, the importance of an understanding social group for friendship, to gratitude for having someone to pick us up if we have had a fall, among other examples.

We may well continue along these lines at future meetings, to share with others, enjoy a coffee or tea and possibly stay on for lunch and generally find the outing of benefit.  Our next meeting is at 10am on Tuesday, January 31.  All are welcome as we need ideas, action and support in many ways.
