Summer fair draws in 2,000 people
BUOYED by sunny weather, Hanham's second summer street fair drew crowds from across the district.
The event, which took place on Saturday July 13, featured stalls, rides, entertainment, street food and music, courtesy of Crofts End Silver Band.
The fair was organised by a small number of volunteers who form the Hanham Business and Community Partnership.
One of the organisers, Nicola Bartlett, who runs Eclectic Gift Shop in the High Street, said: “There was an excellent turn out, around a couple of thousand people.
“Hanham is a highly supportive and brilliant place to run a business. We love taking part in events that bring the whole community together.”
